    PASTOR ANTHONY WAINAINA

    PASTOR'S BIOGRAPHY

    Pastor (Rev) Tony grew up in Kenya, Africa. Soon after receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and savior, God directed him to Nakuru Happy Church, an international Christian ministry, based in Nakuru, Kenya, a city located 120 miles west of the Kenyan capital, Nairobi. There, Pastor Tony was trained and discipled by the founding Bishop, Joseph W.W. Kamau.

    Responsibilities

    He coordinated a successful youth ministry as a youth pastor, as well as directing a powerful music department in the church. He later was ordained to serve as an associate Pastor. Pastor Tony also served as a home group fellowship coordinator. His tenure in that capacity brought about spiritual and numerical growth in this department.

    Pastor Tony has also served with the Faith Evangelistic Ministries, an international ministry based in Kenya.

    He and his family immigrated to Texas, USA in June of 1999. In America, He has served on the board of trustees as well as music coordinator for Neema Gospel Church, a Christian ministry in Dallas under the leadership of Pastor Jackson Kingori.

    On November,11th of 2007 through the Lord’s leading, Pastor Tony founded The Empowerment Christian Center (ECC) based along the crossroads of four major cities in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex of Texas, USA.

    Pastor Tony is married to a "Proverbs 31" lady, Catherine Makerecha, and blessed with three children: Ron, Suzie and Jeremy. They live in Arlington, Texas USA.

    On August 17th 2008, Pastor Tony was ordained by Dr. Bill Hysell of Legacy Church, Arlington, Texas and became a Reverend.
